These policies explain how Field & Forest Academy's site and purchases are intended to work. They are written in plain language for visitors and purchasers and are not legal advice.
Using this site
You may use this site to learn about Field & Forest Academy and its materials. Please use it lawfully and respectfully, and do not interfere with the site, attempt to access areas not intended for you, or use its content in a misleading way.
Project inquiries are for adults
Project inquiries are intended for adults, including parents, guardians, educators, and program leaders. If you request or use materials with young people, you are responsible for deciding whether the materials and activities are appropriate for your setting and for providing any needed adult oversight.
Curriculum use
The permitted use of materials for a household, classroom, or supervised learning group is discussed as part of the project scope. Review the agreed usage terms before using or sharing project materials.
This license does not transfer ownership. You may not copy for distribution, share files or access links beyond the permitted setting, post materials publicly, resell them, sublicense them, or present them as your own work without written permission from Field & Forest Academy.
Quotes and invoicing
Projects begin with an inquiry. We discuss the scope, materials, timing, and a quote, then arrange invoicing for the agreed project. Review the agreed terms before proceeding. If there is a question about a project or invoice, use our contact page so we can review it with you.
Activities and personal responsibility
Field & Forest Academy materials are educational prompts, not instructions that replace adult judgment. Outdoor activities involve changing conditions and individual choices. You are responsible for supervision, permissions, equipment, route choices, local rules, and decisions made in your setting. Please also read the Educational Activity & Safety Disclaimer.
Limits and responsibility
Field & Forest Academy does not promise that the site or materials will meet every need, be uninterrupted, or be suitable for every location or learner. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Field & Forest Academy is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses connected with use of the site or materials.
If you lead or organize an activity using the materials, you are responsible for your own conduct and for the people in your care. You agree to address claims arising from your misuse of the site or materials, or from activities you organize, to the extent applicable law permits.
Questions and updates
We may update these terms as the site and collection develop. The current version will be posted here. For questions about these terms or a project, please use the contact page. Owner review: legal counsel should confirm any governing-law, venue, enforceability, and limitation-of-liability language before launch or material changes.
